If you to consider the idea of the episodes of Family Guy, it would be funny, but not that funny. Basically what makes Family Guy funny is all Peter's flashbacks to an earlier point in time, when he ends up doing something completely ridiculous. Cavity Kid: *Gasp* The Cavity Creeps!
Music plays
All the Cavity Creeps: We make, holes in teeth!
It cuts to a clip of peter walking with them, dressed as a Cavity Creep.

Rudolph: Like a magical christmas tumor?
Doctor: No .. a malignant tumor. The base of which is lodged deep within your brain.
Rudolph: Ohh, like a happy, special...
Doctor: ..Your going to die!"

The family breaks into laughter
Bobby walks in and says: Hi

Flashes back to "the last time"
Peter: Oh and that nice chicken outside gave me a coupon
Clerk: Oh I'm sorry sir that's expired.
Peter as he stares down the chicken: You son of a!
They fight for about 2 minutes, as if they were reenacting a scene from a dramatic action movie. You laugh when you realize that the are fighting over a coupon. And in the end Peter walks away victorious..or so he thinks...
