The Talented and Gifted Programme (TaG) at Centennial Regional High School excels as a "school within a school". The five year experience is set up to encourage specialization as students become increasingly familiar and comfortable with their talents and their interests. All the participants are encouraged to progress at the level of their individual capabilities. As a result most of the required courses of study, particularly in math and science, are completed by the end of Secondary IV. Then, during the final year of high school, these students have the oppritunity to participate in Advancement Placement Courses at Champlain CEGEP, to take approved CEGEP level courses at Centennial, or to pursue individual enrichment oppritunities according to their personal desires and expectations. Once the students have completed our programme they are amply prepared to participate in a wide variety of CEGEP programmes including the International Baccalaureate programme at Champlain CEGEP.
